Anna has a professional nursing background in both Psychiatry and General Medicine. Throughout her career she has been privileged to work with people who have presented a wide spectrum of problems, both physical and psychological.
In 2009, Anna decided to train specifically as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, working with people suffering with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD and phobias. Since then she has enjoyed working within the NHS and in private practice, as well as facilitating groups for clients in a residential rehabilitation centre for alcohol and substance abuse.
Anna is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), which is a recommended therapy for PTSD and most anxiety disorders.
Anna currently works within Cambridge University offering CBT to students, as well as in private practice, with clinics in both Cambridge and in Saffron Walden.
