About CBT

What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a science based, evidenced and researched talking therapy. It has been proven to have excellent efficacy with a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties.

CBT is a psychotherapeutic model recommended by NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) as the treatment of choice for most common mental health problems.

CBT can help you change how you think (‘Cognitive’) and what you do (‘Behavioural’). These changes aim to challenge and improve your current difficulties.
